Ms. Fatimah “Kay” Boone, PMHNP-BC

Chief Clinical Officer | Director of Psychiatry Services

Fatimah “Kay” Boone is a psychiatric professional who approaches mental health care with compassion, understanding, and respect for the vulnerability it takes to seek support. She began her work in the field as a rape crisis line volunteer and has been practicing as a psychiatric provider since 2017. Her clinical background spans hospital settings, inpatient drug and alcohol recovery programs, and outpatient clinics, where she has worked with individuals across the full spectrum of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, and bipolar disorder.

Kay specializes in ADHD diagnosis, medication management, and executive function coaching, offering targeted support for individuals seeking clarity, structure, and improved daily functioning. She provides comprehensive mental health care designed to address a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and mood disorders. Her services include medication management, with the option to incorporate psychotherapy for those not currently working with a therapist.

Her model of care is intentionally streamlined to ensure continuity and depth of treatment. Clients receiving therapy services also participate in medication management, allowing for an integrated approach under one provider. However, Kay remains flexible in her approach. She offers medication management as a standalone service for individuals who prefer to continue working with their current therapist or who have been referred specifically for psychiatric care. Additionally, she provides EMDR therapy as a focused service for clients seeking trauma processing without medication management.

Kay works with clients throughout New York State, Maryland, and Delaware, with most sessions conducted virtually to increase accessibility and convenience.
